Back to the Roots of their Ancestors

At the end of 19th century Alexander August Adolf Hermann von Arnswaldt, born on May 20, 1885 at Hardenborstel/Hanover, emigrated to Hawaii. On August 29, 1909 he married in Kohala/Hawaii Hilda Keanokapulani Moku, born on August 29, 1878. She was a daughter of a Hawaiian King in Kohala. They had 9 children.

One of them was Victoria Mabel von Arnswaldt who was born in 1915. Victoria Mabel married and got three children. Two of their descendants, Donna Parker and Roberta O'Leary, were guests on occasion of the 4th Family-Reunion in Schmalkalden in 2004. The two ladies came back to the roots, namely to Germany, where their ancestor Alexander August Adolf Hermann von Arnswaldt came from.
